Fabricated Tee Type Strainer – Carbon & Stainless Steel, ANSI Class 150LBS, WN Flanged

Tengs Valve supplies fabricated industrial Tee type strainers in carbon steel and stainless steel. The Tee body design uses a standard pipe tee with a bolted cover on the branch, allowing the screen to be accessed for cleaning without removing the main pipeline. Sizes range from 2" to 36" (DN50–DN900). Pressure rating is ANSI Class 150LB. Tee body materials include A234-WPB, A106, SS304, SS316, SS304L and SS316L. Flanges are WN type. Screen materials include 304SS and 316SS. End connections include BW, RF and RTJ. NACE MR0175 available for sour service.

Why Choose a Tee Type Strainer?

The Tee type strainer uses a standard pipe tee as the body, with a bolted cover on the branch. This design allows the screen to be removed for cleaning or replacement without cutting the main pipeline. Compared with Y type strainers, the Tee design provides a larger filtration area and is easier to maintain in large-diameter pipelines. WN flanges ensure a strong welded connection between the flange and pipe.
